Amir Cohen (972art) - Who I am
I'm a Creative & Cultural Strategist | Brand Language Architect | Art – Science & Tech Curator/Creator, and academic mentor with three decades of experience breaking boundaries between art, culture, design, and innovation.
For over 25 years, I’ve been building unexpected alliances - connecting artists, scientists, museums, tech visionaries, and public institutions across Europe and the U.S. I’m part of the EU Creative Leadership Program (Creative Business Cup) and a senior faculty member at JMC (formerly HAC), where I guide emerging creatives in concept-driven thinking and visual storytelling.
My work spans major international projects, including two decades of active presence at the Venice Biennale. In 2024, I co-led Beyond the Skin - an independent art-science initiative in partnership with the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, featuring 135 artists and scientists in a bold hybrid format of exhibition and discourse.
What I do:
+ Create cultural brand language and conceptual identity systems
+ Advise across disciplines—bridging art, science, heritage, and innovation
+ Build strategies that speak to funders, audiences, and stakeholders alike
+ Lead curatorial and editorial projects, exhibitions, and public programs
+ Develop and design art and culture books—from vision to print
